SYNOPSIS
Everyone wants to get to the top as fast as possible, but the artistic directors’ performance is turning into a desaster. A fierce, improvised comedy about a group of acting students fighting their angst and the school system.

ABOUT
Nicolas Wackerbarth was born in Munich in 1973. After studying acting in Munich and film directing at the DFFB (German Film and Television Academy Berlin), he made several feature films, most recently CASTING (2017, Berlinale Forum, Filmkunstpreis Ludwigshafen, 3 Lola nominations), which was highly praised by critics and audiences alike. Like his other films HALBSCHATTEN (2013, Berlinale Forum), LOWER UPPER CUT (2011, Filmfest München) and HALBE STUNDEN (short film, 2007, Festival de Cannes), he has been shown at international festivals around the world. Nicolas Wackerbarth has been teaching at leading art and film schools for many years. He is co-editor of the film magazine “Revolver”.
