THOSE WHO ARE FINE
(CH, 2017, 71 min)
D: Cyril Schäublin

A conversation with director Cyril Schäublin about his debut film THOSE WHO ARE FINE.

SYNOPSIS
Alice works in a call center on the outskirts of Zurich, selling Internet subscriptions and insurance policies to strangers on the other end of the phone. On leaving work, she walks through the city, where everything seems to be running smoothly. Inspired by her job, she calls lonely grandmothers pretending to be their granddaughter and in urgent need of money. As she quickly makes a fortune from her scam, the film depicts and explores different locations in the city of Zurich, portraying a variety of people, all curiously linked to Alice's actions.
