SYNOPSIS
A man who has been collecting for 70 years, collecting everything one can imagine. A man who lives in his own house like a guest of his collections. A man who tries to freeze time, as if to hold on to present. In this documentary, you will follow this passionate collector through the vivid streets of Istanbul, among the crowd, in search of new collection items while trying to understand his perception of life and collection.

ABOUT
Pelin Esmer is a Turkish filmmaker based in Istanbul. After studying sociology, she turned to cinema. While working as an assistant director in the film industry, she began directing her own films. After her first documentary, The Collector, she founded her own film company, Sinefilm, and wrote, directed and produced : THE PLAY, 10 TO 11, WATCHTOWER and SOMETHING USEFUL. Her films have been screened at numerous festivals around the world, including San Sebastian, Toronto, Rotterdam, Tribeca, Tallinn and Göteburg, and have won several awards.
